An oval cut lab grown diamond over a pave hidden halo, on a slim band carrying exactly one marquise diamond on each shoulder. Not a row, not a cluster, one stone on each side set well back from the centre with plain polished metal between. It is the smallest amount of accent work that still changes the character of a solitaire, and it leaves a large stretch of bare band on either side of the head.

Band details

The shank is slim and rounded with a single marquise accent set into each shoulder and polished metal either side of it. The band stops carrying stones well before the base of the finger, and the underside is left plain.

Metal options

Choose 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating, or solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. Yellow gold gives the warm reading shown in the photographs and makes the isolated marquise accents read clearly against the metal. Rose gold is softer. White gold, rhodium finished, keeps the whole ring colourless. Every metal is hallmarked and every carat weight is available in every metal.

Is the centre stone a real diamond
Yes. A lab grown diamond is chemically, physically and optically identical to a mined diamond and is graded on the same scale by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the centre stone is included at no extra cost with every order.

Why only one accent per side
Because it gives the band a point of interest without turning it into a pave shank. The eye reads the centre stone first, the marquise second, and the plain metal keeps everything calm.

What does the hidden halo do
It lifts the stone slightly and adds a line of light under the girdle, so the ring sparkles in profile without widening the outline seen from above.

Are the marquise accents durable
Each is claw set with its points held inside the claws, exactly as a marquise centre stone would be. Set correctly they are fine for daily wear.

Can I wear a wedding band beside it
Yes, and easily. Because the accents sit well back from the head, a plain straight band sits flush against the shank without touching them.

How long does it take to make
