An oval cut lab grown diamond is claw set above a basket carrying not one but two rows of micro pave, stacked one under the other so that the sides of the setting are completely covered in light. From directly above the ring reads as a clean oval solitaire. Turn the hand even slightly and a deep band of sparkle appears beneath the stone. The shank continues the idea with individually claw set round accents that reduce in size as they run away from the head, so the whole ring tapers from the centre outward.

Band details

The shank is a fine polished wire carrying graduated round accent diamonds, largest at the shoulder and reducing as they run down the band, each in its own claw setting. The double hidden halo sits under the crown on all four sides. The back of the shank is plain and rounded, which keeps the ring comfortable and easy to resize despite the amount of stone work above it.

Metal options

Choose 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating, or solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. White gold, rhodium finished, gives the bright cool look shown in the photographs and makes the double halo merge into the centre stone. Yellow gold outlines the oval clearly against the pave. Rose gold gives the warmest reading. Every metal is hallmarked and every carat weight is available in every metal.

Yes. A lab grown diamond is chemically, physically and optically identical to a mined diamond and is graded on the same scale by the same laboratories.

What does a double row hidden halo add
A single hidden halo gives one line of light under the girdle. A double row deepens that band considerably, so the setting reads as solid sparkle from the side while the view from above stays a clean solitaire outline.

Does it make the ring sit higher
Slightly, by about the depth of one extra row of pave. Most wearers find it lifts the stone attractively without becoming top heavy.

Why do ovals look bigger than rounds
An oval spreads its weight along the finger rather than into depth, so for the same carat weight it presents a larger face up area and lengthens the finger.

Can I wear a wedding band beside it
