An oval cut lab grown diamond in a four claw head, with a hidden halo that does not stop at the base of the stone but wraps up and around the underside of the setting, on a completely plain slim band. A standard hidden halo is a flat collar of stones facing outward from beneath the girdle. This one follows the curve of the pavilion, so the line of small diamonds climbs the side of the setting and disappears behind the oval rather than sitting in a single plane. Seen from an angle it reads as a continuous ribbon of light wrapping the stone. From directly above there is nothing to see but the oval and a bare polished band. E colour, VVS2 clarity throughout, free IGI certificate for the centre stone. Made to order in Surat in ten metals and four carat weights.

Metal options

Because the band is bare, the metal colour sets the entire character of the ring and the wrapped halo is the only detail competing with it. Yellow and rose gold make the hidden stones read as a bright seam in warm metal, white gold makes them vanish into the diamond above. For daily wear 14K is harder than 18K and keeps a plain polished band free of dents for longer.

Frequently asked questions

How is a wrap around hidden halo different from a normal one?
A standard hidden halo is a flat ring of stones sitting in one plane beneath the girdle. A wrap around halo follows the curve of the setting, climbing the sides so the line of light is continuous rather than flat. It shows from more angles.

Can you see the halo when you look down at the ring?
No. From directly above you see only the oval and a plain band. That is the point of a hidden halo. It reveals itself from the side or when the hand moves.

Why leave the band completely plain?
So that every small diamond in the ring is concentrated in one place. A plain shank is also the easiest to pair with a wedding band later, since there is no pave to line up.

Does an oval look bigger than a round of the same weight?
Generally yes. An oval spreads its weight across a longer surface, presenting more face up area than a round of identical carat, and the elongated outline flatters the finger.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. Same carbon structure, hardness and brilliance as a mined diamond. Only the origin differs.

Do I get a certificate?
Yes. A free IGI certificate for the centre stone comes with every order, listing colour, clarity, cut grade and carat weight.

How long does it take to make?
