Available in 925 sterling silver, 10K yellow gold, 10K rose gold, 10K white gold, 14K yellow gold, 14K rose gold, 14K white gold, 18K yellow gold, 18K rose gold and 18K white gold. Yellow gold is the traditional setting for a trilogy and gives the strongest contrast against three colourless stones. A white metal makes the three read as one continuous band of light rather than three separate stones. For daily wear 14K is harder than 18K and holds fine claw work better over years of knocks.

What does a three stone ring mean?
The three stones are usually read as past, present and future, one for where a couple started, one for where they are, one for what is ahead. That meaning is why trilogy rings are given for engagements and for milestone anniversaries alike.

Does the carat weight include the side stones?
No. The carat option you choose is the weight of the centre oval only. The pear sides are additional and are scaled in proportion so the ring stays balanced at every carat weight.

Why pear side stones rather than round?
A pear tapers to a point, so it pulls the eye outward along the finger and lengthens the whole setting. Round sides give a softer, more even look. Both suit an oval centre, so choose by the effect you want.

Does an oval look bigger than a round of the same weight?
Generally yes. An oval spreads its weight across a longer surface, so it presents more face up area than a round of identical carat, and the elongated outline flatters the finger.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. Same carbon structure, hardness and brilliance as a mined diamond. Only the origin differs.
