An oval cut lab grown diamond claw set above a hidden halo, on a band carrying a marquise diamond either side of the centre followed by spaced round accents further along the shoulders. The sequence is what makes this work. A marquise sits immediately beside the oval, and because both shapes are pointed ellipses the marquise reads as a continuation of the centre stone rather than as an interruption. Past that, smaller rounds are set at intervals with polished metal between them, so the density of stone decreases as the band travels back along the finger. Metal options

Available in 925 sterling silver, 10K yellow gold, 10K rose gold, 10K white gold, 14K yellow gold, 14K rose gold, 14K white gold, 18K yellow gold, 18K rose gold and 18K white gold. Because the round accents are spaced rather than packed, the metal between them is part of the design and its colour matters. Yellow and rose gold isolate each stone clearly, white gold lets the whole band read as one broken line of light. For daily wear 14K is harder than 18K and holds individually set accents more securely.

Frequently asked questions

Why a marquise beside an oval?
Both are elongated shapes with a rounded body, so a marquise placed next to the oval extends its line rather than contrasting with it. A round accent in that position would stop the eye instead of carrying it outward.

Why are the round accents spaced apart?
It is called station or distance setting. Leaving polished metal between the stones keeps the band slim, makes it easier to clean than continuous pave, and creates a gradient of sparkle that fades as it moves away from the centre.

What is a hidden halo?
A ring of small diamonds set around the base of the centre stone facing outward. From above you see the oval alone. From the side it shows as a bright collar underneath.

Does an oval look bigger than a round of the same weight?
Generally yes. An oval spreads its weight across a longer surface, presenting more face up area than a round of identical carat, and the elongated outline flatters the finger.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. Same carbon structure, hardness and brilliance as a mined diamond. Only the origin differs.

Do I get a certificate?
Yes. A free IGI certificate for the centre stone comes with every order, listing colour, clarity, cut grade and carat weight.

How long does it take to make?
