A marquise cut lab grown diamond is set lengthways along the finger, and at each of its two points sits a tight trio of round accent diamonds arranged in a triangle. Those clusters fill the space where a marquise usually leaves a gap, so from above the head reads as a single elongated kite of light rather than a pointed stone on a bare band. Below the head the shank drops straight to a plain slim wire with nothing set into it, which keeps the whole design contained to the top of the finger.

Band details

The shank is a slim polished round wire with no stones and no engraving. Keeping it plain is what makes the accent clusters read clearly, and it also makes the ring easy to resize and comfortable against neighbouring fingers. The gallery beneath the marquise is left open so light reaches the pavilion.

Metal options

Choose 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating, or solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. Yellow gold gives the warm look shown in the photographs and outlines the kite shaped head clearly. White gold, rhodium finished, lets the accents and the marquise merge into one continuous shape. Rose gold softens the points. Every metal is hallmarked and every carat weight is available in every metal.

The two tips are the thinnest part of any marquise, which is why we cover each one with a prong that wraps over the point. Here the accent clusters also sit right beside the tips, adding a further layer of protection.

Yes. Of all the diamond shapes, the marquise has the greatest length for its carat weight, so it elongates the finger more than any other cut.
