This ring sets an emerald cut lab grown diamond above a band of baguette cut diamonds that run around the shank in a shared prong eternity style, so the entire ring is built from step cut stones.

That is the idea behind the design. Baguettes and emerald cuts are cut the same way, with long flat facets arranged in steps, and they produce broad flashes of light rather than the fine sparkle of a brilliant cut. Putting them together gives the ring a single, consistent character. Instead of a large calm stone sitting on a band of small glittering ones, you get one continuous language of clean rectangles, which is why this style reads as art deco even though nothing about it is fussy.

The baguettes are set on their sides, with a small gold prong shared between each pair. Because the prongs are rounded and sit at the meeting point of two stones, the band shows a rhythm of light and metal all the way around and holds each baguette securely without covering its face.

The centre stone is claw set at its four corners, lifted just high enough to clear the band, and the gallery underneath is left open so light travels through the stone from every direction.

Ring size is fully customisable. Choose your size at checkout or write to us with the size you need, including quarter and half sizes and sizes outside the standard range. Frequently asked questions

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. It is the same carbon crystal, with the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and the same optical properties as a mined diamond. Only the origin is different.

Does the ring come with a certificate?
Yes. An IGI certificate for the centre stone is included at no extra cost and states carat weight, colour, clarity, measurements and laboratory grown origin.

How is this different from your other diamond band emerald cut rings?
Our other diamond bands use round brilliant stones, either pave set or shared prong. This band is made entirely of baguette cut diamonds, which are step cut like the centre stone, so the ring has one consistent style of faceting from end to end and a much more geometric look.

Can a baguette eternity band be resized?
It can be adjusted slightly, but not as freely as a plain band, because the stones are set around the shank. We recommend confirming your size carefully before ordering, and we are happy to help you measure.

Will a wedding band sit flush against it?
Yes. The setting sits close to the band and nothing flares outward, so a straight wedding band meets this ring cleanly. A matching baguette band is a natural pairing and we can make one.

Are baguette diamonds durable?
They have straight edges and corners, so they are set with prongs at the meeting points to protect those corners. Worn normally, they last as well as any other diamond, and diamonds remain the hardest gem material there is.

Which carat weight suits this ring?
All four are made for it. At 2 carat the centre and the baguettes stay in close conversation. At 4 or 5 carat the centre stone becomes a strong focal point above a band that still reads as a deliberate part of the design.

How do I clean it?
Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft brush, working along the band and behind the setting. Rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Step cut stones show smudges more than brilliant cuts, so regular light cleaning keeps them looking sharp.
