An elongated radiant cut lab grown diamond in four claws, on a pave shank made deliberately narrower than the setting it carries. The band is so fine that the stone appears to sit above it rather than on it, and the pave line reads as a thread of light rather than as a row of diamonds. It is the most extreme size contrast we build, and it is the reason a 2 carat radiant on this ring looks closer to 3.

Band details

The shank is the narrowest pave profile we make, carrying a single fine row along the top of each shoulder and stopping before the base of the finger. We thicken the wall out of sight beneath the setting so the visible band can stay this fine without losing strength.

Metal options

Choose 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating, or solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. White gold, rhodium finished, gives the near invisible band shown in the photographs, which is what makes the stone look as large as it does. Yellow gold draws a warm fine line instead. Rose gold sits between the two. Every metal is hallmarked and every carat weight is available in every metal.

Is the centre stone a real diamond
Yes. A lab grown diamond is chemically, physically and optically identical to a mined diamond and is graded on the same scale by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the centre stone is included at no extra cost with every order.

Does a narrow band really make the stone look bigger
Yes, and it is the single most effective way to do it without buying more carat. The eye judges the diamond against the metal beside it, so the finer the band the larger the stone reads.

Is a band this fine durable
Yes, because the section is thickened where the load is carried under the setting. For 4 and 5 carat centres we recommend 14K or 18K gold rather than sterling silver.

Will the pave stones fall out
Each stone is held by claws raised from the metal, not glued. We recommend a check every 12 to 18 months, which we do free of charge.

Can I wear a wedding band beside it
Yes. The shank is straight, so a plain or pave band sits flush on either side. A slim matching band pairs best with a shank this fine.

How long does it take to make
Made to order rings usually leave our workshop within 10 to 14 working days. We confirm the date by email once your size is set.
