An elongated cushion cut lab grown diamond with an angular trapezoid diamond set either side, on a band pave set along both shoulders. Trapezoid sides are a different proposition from the pears or rounds most trilogies use. Their straight edges sit flush against the flat sides of the cushion with almost no gap, so the three stones read as one continuous block of diamond rather than as three separate stones with metal between them. That is why this configuration gives the widest apparent head of any three stone arrangement at the same carat weight. The pave beneath carries the line further along the finger. E colour, VVS2 clarity throughout, free IGI certificate for the centre stone. Made to order in Surat in ten metals and four carat weights.

Metal options

Available in 925 sterling silver, 10K yellow gold, 10K rose gold, 10K white gold, 14K yellow gold, 14K rose gold, 14K white gold, 18K yellow gold, 18K rose gold and 18K white gold. Because the three stones sit flush with very little metal between them, a white metal makes the head read as a single unbroken block of diamond, which maximises the apparent size. Yellow and rose gold define each stone separately. For daily wear 14K is harder than 18K and holds flush fitted side stones more securely.

Frequently asked questions

Why trapezoid side stones?
A trapezoid has straight edges that sit flush against the flat side of the centre stone, leaving almost no metal gap. The three stones then read as one wide continuous surface, which makes the head look considerably larger than the centre carat weight alone.

What does a three stone ring mean?
The three stones are usually read as past, present and future, one for where a couple began, one for where they are, one for what is ahead. It is why trilogy rings suit both engagements and milestone anniversaries.

Does the carat weight include the side stones?
No. The carat option you choose is the weight of the centre cushion only. The trapezoid sides and the pave are additional and scale in proportion at every carat weight.

What is an elongated cushion?
A cushion cut stretched into a rectangle while keeping its softly rounded corners. It runs along the finger and slims the hand the way an oval does, while retaining the antique character of a cushion.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. Same carbon structure, hardness and brilliance as a mined diamond. Only the origin differs.

Do I get a certificate?
Yes. A free IGI certificate for the centre stone comes with every order, listing colour, clarity, cut grade and carat weight.

How long does it take to make?
