An elongated cushion cut lab grown diamond is held in four slim claws on a fine plain shank. The cut has a rectangular outline with rounded corners and a crushed ice facet pattern inside, which gives a dense scatter of small flashes rather than a few large ones. Set on a narrow band with no halo, no pave and no side stones, the stone covers a long stretch of the finger and there is nothing anywhere on the ring to pull attention away from it.

Band details

The shank is a fine polished round wire with no stones, no engraving and no shaping other than a slight rise where it meets the claws. It keeps a consistent width the whole way round, which makes it easy to resize, comfortable against neighbouring fingers and unlikely to catch. The gallery beneath the stone is left open so light enters the pavilion from below.

Metal options

Choose 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating, or solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. Yellow gold gives the warm classic look shown in the photographs. White gold, rhodium finished, makes the diamond read a shade whiter and lets the fine band nearly disappear. Rose gold softens the rectangular outline. Every metal is hallmarked and every carat weight is available in every metal.

Is the centre stone a real diamond
Yes. A lab grown diamond is chemically, physically and optically identical to a mined diamond and is graded on the same scale by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the centre stone is included at no extra cost with every order.

What is an elongated cushion
It is a cushion cut with a longer length to width ratio, usually around 1.2 to 1.4. It covers more of the finger than a square cushion and looks larger for the same carat weight.

Are the corners fragile
No. Unlike a princess cut, the corners of a cushion are rounded rather than pointed, which makes it one of the more robust fancy shapes for daily wear.

Does a fine band make the stone look bigger
Yes, noticeably. With less metal beside the diamond there is nothing to give the eye a competing reference, so the same stone reads larger than it would on a wide band.

Can I wear a wedding band beside it
Yes, and this is one of the easiest settings for it. The straight plain shank lets any band sit flush on either side with no gap.
