Elongated Cushion Cut Lab Grown Diamond Three Stone Ring with Pear Side Stones

An elongated cushion cut lab grown diamond in a four claw head, with a pear shaped diamond set either side pointing outward along the band, on a plain polished shank. Pear side stones behave differently from trapezoids or baguettes. Their rounded end sits against the cushion and their point travels away down the shoulder, so instead of squaring off the head into a solid block the trio tapers at both ends and the whole arrangement reads as a soft ellipse. That taper is why this works on a plain band. There is no pave to stop the eye, so the outline itself has to carry the design, and the narrowing points give it somewhere to end. E colour, VVS2 clarity throughout, free IGI certificate for the centre stone. Made to order in Surat in ten metals and four carat weights.

With no pave anywhere on the ring, the metal frames three stones and nothing else. Yellow and rose gold outline each of the three clearly, white gold merges them into one continuous form and makes the head look widest. For daily wear 14K is harder than 18K and better protects the points of the pear side stones.

Why pear side stones?
Their rounded end meets the cushion while their point travels outward, so the head tapers away at both ends instead of finishing in a hard edge. It gives a softer, more organic outline than trapezoid or baguette sides.

What does a three stone ring mean?
