An elongated cushion cut lab grown diamond held in four claws above a basket that is pave set on every visible face, not just around the top rim. Most hidden halos are a single line of stones under the girdle. This one continues down the sides of the basket and across the claws where they meet the setting, so from the side the whole head of the ring reads as diamond rather than as a diamond sitting on metal. The band carries micro pave to match.

Band details

The shank is slim and carries a single row of micro pave along both shoulders, meeting the pave on the basket so the diamond work runs continuously from the band up into the setting. The underside is plain and rounded.

Metal options

Choose 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating, or solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. White gold, rhodium finished, gives the almost entirely colourless head shown in the photographs, which is the strongest reading for this design. Yellow gold keeps a warm outline around each pave section. Rose gold is the softest. Every metal is hallmarked and every carat weight is available in every metal.

Is the centre stone a real diamond
Yes. A lab grown diamond is chemically, physically and optically identical to a mined diamond and is graded on the same scale by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the centre stone is included at no extra cost with every order.

How is a pave basket different from a hidden halo
A hidden halo is one row of stones directly under the girdle. A pave basket carries stones over the whole visible structure beneath the diamond, so there is far more sparkle in profile.

Does all that pave make the ring look busy from above
No. Everything sits below the girdle of the centre stone, so from directly above the outline is unchanged. The extra work only shows in profile and at close range.

Will the pave stones fall out
Each stone is held by claws raised from the metal, not glued. With this many accents we particularly recommend a check every 12 months, which we do free of charge.

Can I wear a wedding band beside it
Yes. The shank is straight. Because the basket is deeper than a plain one, a slightly curved band will sit closest if you want no gap at all.

How long does it take to make
Made to order rings usually leave our workshop within 12 to 16 working days because of the volume of setting. We confirm the date by email once your size is set.
