An elongated cushion cut lab grown diamond held by four claws above a hidden halo, on a band set with marquise cut accent diamonds laid end to end along the finger. The accents are not round. Each one is a small marquise set east west with its points running along the direction of the shank, and a tiny bead of metal sits between one stone and the next so they read as a linked chain rather than a solid line of pave. That detail is what separates this from an ordinary pave band. Marquise accents are cut and set individually, they catch light in long flashes rather than fine sparkle, and they echo the pointed geometry of the head. Band details

Marquise cut accent diamonds are set east west along the shoulders, each held in fine claws with a small bead of metal between them. The lower half of the shank is left plain so the ring sits comfortably and can be resized without disturbing the set stones.

What is a marquise accent band?
A shank set with small marquise cut diamonds rather than round ones. Because a marquise is long and pointed, the stones lie end to end along the finger and produce longer flashes of light than the fine even sparkle of round pave.

Why choose marquise accents over pave?
Pave gives a continuous shimmer. Marquise accents give a series of distinct bright shapes with metal visible between them, which reads as more deliberate and more unusual, and it ties the band to the pointed geometry of the setting.

What is a hidden halo?
A ring of small pave set diamonds around the collar beneath the centre stone, facing outward rather than upward. It is invisible from the front and appears only in profile or as the hand moves.

What is an elongated cushion cut?
A cushion with a longer rectangular outline rather than a square one. It keeps the soft rounded corners and brilliant faceting of a classic cushion, but the extra length makes the stone look larger for its weight and flatters the finger.
