An elongated cushion cut lab grown diamond is held by a half bezel, a collar of polished gold that wraps the top and bottom of the stone and leaves both long sides completely open. Nothing else touches the diamond. There are no prongs to catch, no gallery to hide the pavilion, and no pave to compete with, so the crushed ice interior of the cushion is free to move light around on its own.

The half bezel is the quietest secure setting we make. It gives a soft rounded outline that reads as one continuous shape from the band up through the stone, and because the metal sits flush against the girdle rather than above it, the ring slides under gloves and sleeves without snagging.

Band details

The shank is a slim rounded band that runs straight into the bezel without a visible join, so the whole ring reads as a single drawn line. There are no accent stones anywhere on the design. Choose from 925 sterling silver, or 10K, 14K and 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. A yellow gold bezel casts a warm line along the top and bottom of the diamond that flatters the elongated shape. Rose gold gives a softer blush at the same edges. White gold and sterling silver make the bezel disappear into the stone so the outline looks almost frameless. Every metal is finished by hand in our workshop.
