Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond? Yes. A lab grown diamond has the same carbon crystal structure, hardness and brilliance as a mined diamond. The only difference is that it is grown in a laboratory rather than extracted from the earth. It is graded by the same laboratories using the same criteria.

What color and clarity is the diamond in this ring? The cushion cut center stone is E color and VVS2 clarity. E is in the colorless range, and VVS2 means inclusions are very difficult to see even under ten times magnification, so the stone is completely eye clean.

What is the difference between a cushion and a radiant? Both are squarish shapes, but a cushion has softly rounded corners while a radiant has straight trimmed corners, which gives it a more angular outline. A cushion reads softer and more antique, a radiant sharper and more modern.

What does elongated mean here? A classic cushion is close to square. An elongated cushion is cut noticeably longer than it is wide, so it covers more of the finger and slims the hand, while keeping the soft cushion corners.
