A radiant cut lab grown diamond turned on its side and set east to west across the finger, in four claws on a band with a single fine pave row. Almost every rectangular stone is set lengthways. Turning this one sideways makes it span the width of the finger instead of running along it, which reads considerably bolder for the same carat weight and suits shorter fingers particularly well.

Band details

The shank is slim with a single fine pave row along the top of each shoulder, stopping before the base of the finger. The underside is plain and rounded. The band is kept narrow so the width of the stone does the work.

Metal options

Choose 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating, or solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. White gold, rhodium finished, gives the cool contemporary look shown in the photographs and suits the horizontal setting. Yellow gold makes the outline read warmer and more deliberate. Rose gold is the softest. Every metal is hallmarked and every carat weight is available in every metal.

Is the centre stone a real diamond
Yes. A lab grown diamond is chemically, physically and optically identical to a mined diamond and is graded on the same scale by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the centre stone is included at no extra cost with every order.

What does east west setting mean
The long axis of the stone runs across the finger rather than along it. The diamond itself is unchanged, only the orientation of the setting differs.

Does an east west stone look bigger
It looks wider. A lengthways stone slims and lengthens the finger, an east west stone spans it. Most people find the east west version reads bolder at the same carat weight.

Is a radiant more durable than a princess cut
Yes. Its corners are cropped rather than pointed, which removes the part of a princess cut most likely to chip.

Can I wear a wedding band beside it
Yes. The shank is straight, so a plain or pave band sits flush on either side. Because the stone sits sideways there is no overhang at the sides.

How long does it take to make
