A cushion cut lab grown diamond held by claws shaped as curling tendrils, on a band carved to look like a slender branch. Small leaves fold along the shank and round diamonds are set where a bud would sit, scattered rather than lined up. Nothing about the band is symmetrical, which is the point. It is made to look grown rather than manufactured, and the soft rounded corners of a cushion cut suit that far better than a sharp edged stone would.

Band details

The shank is carved as a branch, uneven in section, with small leaves lifting away from the metal on both shoulders. Every piece is finished by hand, so the leaves sit slightly differently on each ring. The inside of the band is left smooth and rounded so the texture is only on the outside.

Metal options

Choose 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating, or solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. Rose gold gives the warm coppery finish shown in the photographs and is the most natural reading for a branch design. Yellow gold looks closer to antique gold work. White gold, rhodium finished, makes the carving read as frost rather than wood. Every metal is hallmarked and every carat weight is available in every metal.

Is the centre stone a real diamond
Yes. A lab grown diamond is chemically, physically and optically identical to a mined diamond and is graded on the same scale by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the centre stone is included at no extra cost with every order.

Will the leaves catch on clothing
The leaves are laid close against the band and their edges are rounded and polished, so in practice they catch far less than a raised claw setting would.

Is the texture hard to clean
Carved metal holds a little more in the recesses than a plain band. Warm water with a soft brush is enough, and we clean and polish free of charge for life.

Can this ring be resized
Yes, within one to two sizes. Because the carving runs around the shank, larger adjustments mean recarving a section, which we can quote for.

Can I wear a wedding band beside it
A matching vine band sits best, and we make one to order. A plain straight band will leave small gaps where the branch is uneven.

How long does it take to make
Made to order rings usually leave our workshop within 12 to 16 working days because of the hand carving. We confirm the date by email once your size is set.
