A cushion cut lab grown diamond between two pear shaped side stones, with the pears turned so their points face outward along the finger. The setting is a trellis, which means the claws holding the three stones cross over one another beneath the head instead of sitting in separate baskets. Turn the ring over and you can see them interlace in an X under the centre stone. A trellis lets the three diamonds sit closer together than separate baskets allow and leaves the sides open, so light passes through the whole head rather than stopping at a wall of metal. Pairing a soft square cushion with two pointed pears sets a rounded shape against two directional ones, which is why this reads differently from a trilogy with matched round sides. The band is plain. What is a trellis setting?
