A cushion cut lab grown diamond held in four claws, flanked by one tapered baguette on each side. The baguettes are step cut, so instead of scattering light the way a brilliant does, they show long flat flashes that lead the eye inward to the centre stone. This is the classic mid century three stone arrangement, and it remains the most flattering way to make a cushion look wider without adding a halo. The band itself is left plain so the three stones carry the whole design.

Band details

The shank is plain, gently squared and polished, widening slightly where it meets the baguettes so the three stones sit in one straight unbroken line across the finger. There are no pave stones on the band.

Metal options

Choose 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating, or solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. White gold, rhodium finished, gives the cool platinum style look shown in the photographs and is the traditional choice for a baguette three stone. Yellow gold gives a warmer art deco reading. Rose gold is the softest of the three. Every metal is hallmarked and every carat weight is available in every metal.

Is the centre stone a real diamond
Yes. A lab grown diamond is chemically, physically and optically identical to a mined diamond and is graded on the same scale by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the centre stone is included at no extra cost with every order.

What is a tapered baguette
It is a rectangular step cut stone that is wider at one end than the other. Set with the wide end against the centre stone, it visually pushes the eye towards the middle and makes the shoulders look slimmer.

Do baguettes sparkle less than round diamonds
They sparkle differently. Step cuts show broad mirror like flashes rather than fine scintillation. Used as side stones this is deliberate, because it keeps the attention on the centre stone.

Are the side stones included in the carat weight shown
No. The carat weight you select refers to the centre stone. The two baguettes are supplied in a proportion matched to the centre stone size.

Can I wear a wedding band beside it
Yes, though because the baguettes sit low and flat, a straight band sits very close. We can also make a matching band to order.

How long does it take to make
Made to order rings usually leave our workshop within 10 to 14 working days. We confirm the date by email once your size is set.
