These cushion cut moissanite stud earrings combine soft, rounded corners with a pillow shaped outline for a romantic take on the classic solitaire stud. The cushion cut gives a bold, brilliant sparkle that feels warm and vintage inspired.
Every listing is for a pair of earrings, so you receive both earrings, one for each ear.
Design and Setting
Each earring features a cushion cut moissanite held by four prongs in an open basket that shows off the stone from every side. The photos include the pair face up, a side view of the post and back, and all three gold colors.
Colorless Moissanite Center Stones
The center stones are colorless moissanite, a lab created gemstone known for strong fire and brilliance. Moissanite rates 9.25 on the Mohs scale, which makes it hard enough for daily wear, and it is a popular diamond alternative for people who want a larger look at a fair price.
How the Carat Options Work
The carat in each option is the center stone of each earring, and the pair total is shown in brackets, for example 1 CT + 1 CT = 2 TCW. That means each earring carries one center stone of the stated carat, and TCW is the total carat weight of both earrings together. Halo or accent stones, where a design has them, are not included in the carat figure.
Metal and Back Options
- Metal: 925 sterling silver, or solid 10K, 14K and 18K gold in yellow, rose and white
- Total carat weight: 2 TCW, 4 TCW, 6 TCW, 8 TCW or 10 TCW for the pair
- Earring closure: push back or screw back
Push back closures are quick and easy to fit, while screw back closures hold the earring more firmly and are a good choice for larger stones or active days.
