Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond? Yes. A lab grown diamond has the same carbon crystal structure, hardness and brilliance as a mined diamond. The only difference is that it is grown in a laboratory rather than extracted from the earth. It is graded by the same laboratories using the same criteria.

What color and clarity are the diamonds in this ring? The cushion cut center stone and both tapered baguettes are E color and VVS2 clarity. E is in the colorless range, and VVS2 means inclusions are very difficult to see even under ten times magnification, so every stone is eye clean.

What is a cushion cut? A cushion is a square or slightly rectangular shape with rounded corners, named because the outline resembles a pillow. It has been cut in some form since the 1700s, and its larger facets give a softer, warmer sparkle than the fine scintillation of a modern round brilliant.
