A teardrop of light held in a single rim of metal. This ring takes a pear cut lab grown diamond, wraps a full bezel around the whole outline including the point, and sets it on a slim shank scattered with small diamonds along both shoulders. The bezel is the design. Because nothing rises above the stone, the eye reads the outline first and only afterwards notices how large the diamond actually is, which is why this setting suits the bigger carat weights particularly well.

Band details

The shank is narrow and rounded, with the diamond row running along the top of each shoulder and stopping well before the base of the finger. The underside is plain. The bezel meets the band at the widest part of the pear, so the profile stays low.

Metal options

Choose 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating, or solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. Yellow gold draws the teardrop outline most strongly and is the choice shown in the photographs. Rose gold gives a warmer, quieter edge. White gold, rhodium finished, lets the rim disappear into the stone. Every metal is hallmarked and every carat weight is available in every metal.

Yes. A lab grown diamond is chemically, physically and optically identical to a mined diamond and is graded on the same scale by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate

Why choose a bezel over claws for a pear
The point of a pear is where damage happens. A bezel covers it completely in metal, so nothing can strike it directly. It also keeps the outline perfectly symmetrical, which matters more on a pear than on any other shape.

Is a bezel harder to clean
Slightly, because there is less open space beneath the girdle. We leave the pavilion open underneath and recommend warm water with a soft brush. We also clean and polish free of charge for life.

Which way is the point worn
Usually facing the fingernail, which lengthens the finger. We can set it the other way at no extra cost if you prefer.

Can I wear a wedding band beside it
Yes. The bezel sits low and the shank is straight, so a plain or diamond band sits flush without a gap.

How long does it take to make
