Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond? Yes. A lab grown diamond has the same carbon crystal structure, hardness and brilliance as a mined diamond. The only difference is that it is grown in a laboratory rather than extracted from the earth. It is graded by the same laboratories using the same criteria.

What color and clarity are the diamonds in this ring? The oval center stone and both pear side stones are E color and VVS2 clarity. E is in the colorless range, and VVS2 means inclusions are very difficult to see even under ten times magnification, so every stone is eye clean.

Why pair pear side stones with an oval centre? Both are elongated brilliant cuts, so they share the same faceting and the same quality of sparkle. Turning the pears outward continues the line of the oval instead of interrupting it, which makes the cluster read wider on the hand than the centre stone alone.
