The elongated emerald cut center diamond is held in a four prong setting and flanked by two smaller emerald cut side diamonds, so the whole ring reads as one clean line of step cut light rather than a cluster of sparkle. Every diamond is a laboratory grown diamond, chemically and optically identical to a mined diamond, graded E color and VVS2 clarity. Each ring is made to order in our own Surat workshop and ships with a free IGI certificate for the center stone.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond

Yes. A lab grown diamond is real diamond. It has the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale, the same refractive index and the same fire and brilliance as a mined diamond. The only difference is that it was grown in a controlled laboratory over a few weeks instead of underground over billions of years. No jeweller can tell the difference by eye, only specialist equipment reading growth patterns can separate the two.

Does this ring come with a certificate

Yes. Every ring ships with a free IGI certificate for the center stone. IGI is the International Gemological Institute, one of the largest independent diamond grading laboratories in the world. The certificate confirms the carat weight, the E color grade, the VVS2 clarity grade and the laboratory grown origin. There is no extra charge for the certificate.

What does E color VVS2 actually mean

E color is the second highest grade on the diamond color scale and sits inside the colorless range, so the diamond looks bright white with no warm or yellow tint. VVS2 means very very slightly included, which is the second highest clarity tier. Any inclusions are so small that a trained grader needs 10x magnification to find them and they are completely invisible to the naked eye.

Why is the three stone style called past present future

The three stone ring became popular as an engagement and anniversary design because the three diamonds are read as a timeline of the relationship, the past, the present and the future. That symbolism is the reason it is chosen so often for milestone anniversaries as well as for proposals.

How long will my order take

Every piece is made to order, so nothing is pulled off a shelf. Production takes about 10 to 12 working days, and shipping is 3 to 5 working days after that with tracked international courier. Rush production is possible, contact us before ordering if you have a fixed date.

Will an emerald cut look bigger than a round of the same carat weight

Generally yes. An emerald cut is a long rectangular shape and carries more of its weight on the surface rather than in depth, so an emerald cut usually looks larger face up than a round brilliant of the same carat weight. Going from 2 carat to 3, 4 or 5 carat on this listing increases both the length and the width of the center stone.

Can I return or exchange the ring

Yes. We accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of delivery on unworn pieces in their original condition. Because every ring is made to order, please check the size guidance before you order so we can get it right the first time. Resizing is also available after delivery.
