A round brilliant lab grown diamond held in six claws, with micro pave sweeping a short way down each shoulder before stopping. This is not a pave band. The tiny stones begin tight against the head, run only as far as the upper shoulder, and then fade out into plain polished gold for the rest of the shank. Setting them that way puts every accent where it does the most work, immediately around the centre stone, and leaves the lower half of the ring completely clean. The practical effect is a solitaire that catches extra light at the head without the maintenance, cost or resizing limits of a fully pave set band. Behind the stone the gallery is left open. Available in 925 sterling silver, 10K yellow gold, 10K rose gold, 10K white gold, 14K yellow gold, 14K rose gold, 14K white gold, 18K yellow gold, 18K rose gold and 18K white gold. Because most of the shank is plain, the metal colour carries the ring and the micro pave reads as a short bright accent at the top. Yellow and rose gold give warm shoulders with a diamond highlight, white gold blends the pave into the centre stone. For daily wear 14K is harder than 18K and holds micro set stones more securely.

Every ring is made to your finger size, so choose your size at checkout. Because the pave stops at the shoulders, this ring can be resized more easily than a fully set band.

Frequently asked questions

What does sweeping micro pave mean?
The pave starts at the head and runs only partway down each shoulder before ending, rather than continuing around the band. The stones are micro set, meaning very small and closely placed so the metal between them is nearly invisible.

Why not set pave all the way around?
A partial run keeps the ring easy to resize, puts no stones where the band presses against the palm, and costs less while still adding light exactly where it is seen most.

Why six claws instead of four?
Six spreads the holding pressure evenly around a circular girdle and keeps the outline of the round looking properly circular. Four claws can make a round appear very slightly squared.

Will the small pave stones fall out?
Properly bead set micro pave is secure, but it benefits from a check every year or two. Our lifetime pave and prong check covers this at no charge.

Will a wedding band sit flush?
Yes. The lower half of the shank is plain, so a flat band rests cleanly against it.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. Same carbon structure, hardness and brilliance as a mined diamond. Only the origin differs.

Do I get a certificate?
Yes. A free IGI certificate for the centre stone comes with every order, listing colour, clarity, cut grade and carat weight.
