A round brilliant lab grown diamond held in six claws above a hidden halo, with shared claw pave running down both shoulders. Three separate decisions stack here and each one does a different job. The six claws hold a round more evenly than four and keep its outline circular rather than pinched. The hidden halo is a collar of small diamonds set around the underside of the centre stone, invisible from above but plainly visible in profile, lifting the stone and adding light at the girdle where a plain setting would show only metal. The shoulder pave is shared claw rather than bead set, meaning each small claw grips two neighbouring stones at once, so less metal shows between them and the line reads as a continuous run of diamond. The hidden halo is the detail that changes most with metal choice. In yellow or rose gold the collar reads as a warm ring of contrast under the stone, in white gold it disappears into the diamonds and simply makes the centre look larger. For daily wear 14K is harder than 18K and holds shared claw pave more securely over the years.

Frequently asked questions

What is a hidden halo?
A ring of small diamonds set around the underside of the centre stone, below the girdle. You do not see it looking down at the ring, only from the side, which is why it is called hidden. It lifts the stone slightly and adds light where the setting would otherwise be solid metal.

Does a hidden halo make the diamond look bigger?
From above, marginally. Its real effect is in profile, where it gives the head visible depth and detail instead of a plain block of metal under the stone.

What is shared claw pave?
Each small claw holds two neighbouring stones at once rather than each stone having its own four claws. Less metal shows between the diamonds, so the row looks like a continuous line of light rather than a series of separate stones.

Why six claws instead of four?
Six spreads the pressure more evenly around a circular girdle and keeps the outline of the round looking properly circular. Four claws can make a round appear very slightly squared at the corners.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. Same carbon structure, hardness and brilliance as a mined diamond. Only the origin differs.

Do I get a certificate?
Yes. A free IGI certificate for the centre stone comes with every order, listing colour, clarity, cut grade and carat weight.

How long does it take to make?
Production usually takes ten to fourteen working days, plus shipping time to your address.
