The accents are held between shared prongs, meaning a single claw grips two neighbouring stones, so each diamond is fully visible from edge to edge with no metal border around it. This is not micro pave. The stones here are large enough to be read individually, and the graduation draws the eye inward to the centre so the main diamond looks larger than its measurements. The head is a plain six claw setting with no halo hidden beneath it. E colour, VVS2 clarity throughout, free IGI certificate for the centre stone. Because shared prongs leave so little metal between the accents, the shoulders of this ring read mostly as diamond whichever colour you choose. Yellow and rose gold outline each stone with a fine warm line. White gold makes the accents merge into a single band of light running up to the centre.

Ring size

Frequently asked questions

What are shared prongs?
A setting where one claw holds two neighbouring stones at once instead of each stone having its own four claws. It means far less metal shows between the diamonds, so the band looks brighter and the stones look larger.

How is this different from a pave band?
Pave uses many very small stones held by tiny beads, which reads as a fine texture of light. These accents are considerably larger and individually distinguishable, and they graduate in size, which pave does not do.

Why six claws instead of four?
Six claws hold a round brilliant more securely and distribute the pressure more evenly, which matters on larger stones. They also give the classic round outline that four claws slightly square off.

Does this ring have a hidden halo?
No. The head is plain, so the round brilliant sits on its own.

Will the accents loosen over time?
Shared prongs are strong, but any claw set stone benefits from a check every year or two. Our lifetime prong check covers this at no charge for as long as you own the ring.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. Same carbon structure, hardness and brilliance as a mined diamond. Only the origin differs.
