A round brilliant lab grown diamond held in six claws on a band pave set with round diamonds down both shoulders. Six claws is the older, sturdier way to hold a round stone. The grip points sit at even intervals around the girdle so the pressure is shared, and the outline the claws draw is a six point star rather than the square four claws produce. Underneath, the gallery is left open and plain, with no hidden halo, so the ring keeps a low clean profile and the diamond sits close to the finger. The pave runs most of the way around the shank in shared bead settings, which keeps the band slim. E colour, VVS2 clarity throughout, free IGI certificate for the centre stone. White metals let the pave blend into an unbroken line of light running toward the centre. Yellow and rose gold outline every bead so the pave reads as a row of distinct stones. For daily wear 14K is harder than 18K and holds bead set pave more securely over the years.

Frequently asked questions

Why six claws?
Six points of contact share the pressure around the girdle rather than concentrating it at four, which is the most secure way to hold a large round stone. It is also the traditional profile people recognise as a classic solitaire.

Does the pave get in the way of a wedding ring?
Not with this shape. The shank is straight and slim, so a plain or pave wedding band sits flush beside it without a gap. A shaped band is only needed when the centre setting drops low over the finger.

How are the pave stones held?
By small beads of metal raised from the band itself and pushed over the edge of each stone. It uses less metal than claws, which is why more diamond and less gold is visible along the shoulders.

Does the carat option include the pave?
No. The carat you choose is the weight of the centre round only. The pave is additional at every carat weight.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. Same carbon structure, hardness and brilliance as a mined diamond. Only the origin differs.

Do I get a certificate?
Yes. A free IGI certificate for the centre stone comes with every order, listing colour, clarity, cut grade and carat weight.

How long does it take to make?
Production usually takes ten to fourteen working days, plus shipping time to your address.
