A round brilliant lab grown diamond held in six flat button claws on a tapered polished band. A button claw is finished as a small flat disc where it folds over the crown rather than being filed to a rounded or pointed tip, so what you see around the stone is six clean gold circles set at even intervals. It is a deliberately old fashioned detail, common on rings made in the middle of the last century and rarely used now, and it gives the head a graphic quality that tapered claws do not have. Nothing else is added. The band tapers gently as it rises toward the head and is left entirely plain, so the six discs are the only decoration on the ring.
