Are the two sides identical?
No, and deliberately so. The two shoulders balance each other in weight and spread but the individual stones are placed differently on each side. A mirror image would read as a pattern rather than a scatter.

Will the uneven setting catch on clothing?
No. The stones sit at slightly different heights but all of them are set down into the metal with the girdles protected. The surface stays smooth to the touch.

Why six claws instead of four?
Six claws spread the hold further around a round stone and cover slightly more of the girdle, which is the most chip prone edge. It is the traditional setting for a round brilliant.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. A lab grown diamond has the same carbon crystal structure, hardness, refractive index and fire as a mined diamond. The only difference is that it was grown in a controlled environment rather than pulled from the ground.
