A round brilliant lab grown diamond held in four squared claws above a hidden halo, on a band set with round diamonds in a scalloped French pave. The claws are the detail people notice first. Rather than the usual rounded tips folded over the crown, these are cut square and flat, which draws four crisp right angles against the circle of the stone and gives an otherwise classic solitaire a deliberately architectural edge. Underneath, the hidden halo lifts the round slightly and shows as a bright collar from the side. The French pave beneath is scooped away between each stone so light reaches the diamonds from below. E colour, VVS2 clarity throughout, free IGI certificate for the centre stone. Made to order in Surat in ten metals and four carat weights.

Squared claws show their shape most clearly in a warm metal, where four blocks of gold read distinctly against the diamond. White gold softens them so the outline of the round stays uninterrupted. For daily wear 14K is harder than 18K and keeps square claw edges crisp for longer.

Frequently asked questions

What are squared claws?
Claws finished with a flat square top rather than a rounded tip. They hold the stone identically but read as four sharp geometric points against the round outline, which is why they suit modern and architectural designs.

What is a hidden halo?
A ring of small diamonds set around the base of the centre stone facing outward. From above you see only the round. From the side it shows as a bright collar underneath.

What is French pave?
A setting where a V shaped or scalloped channel is cut beneath each stone so light enters from below as well as above. Less metal touches the diamond than in bead set pave, so more of each stone is visible and the row looks brighter.

Does the carat option include the halo and pave?
No. The carat you choose is the weight of the round centre only. The hidden halo and pave diamonds are additional at every carat weight.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. Same carbon structure, hardness and brilliance as a mined diamond. Only the origin differs.

Do I get a certificate?
Yes. A free IGI certificate for the centre stone comes with every order, listing colour, clarity, cut grade and carat weight.

How long does it take to make?
Production usually takes ten to fourteen working days, plus shipping time to your address.
