A round brilliant lab grown diamond enclosed in a full rub over bezel, on a slim band that rises gently to meet it. There is not a single claw on this ring. A continuous rim of metal is burnished over the girdle all the way around the stone, which is the oldest way of setting a diamond and still the most secure, and it turns the outline into a perfect unbroken circle of gold around a perfect circle of diamond. Nothing protrudes, nothing can bend or wear thin, and nothing catches on clothing, gloves or hair. Beneath the stone the gallery is left open so light still reaches the pavilion. E colour, VVS2 clarity, free IGI certificate. Made to order in Surat in ten metals and four carat weights.

Metal options

Available in 925 sterling silver, 10K yellow gold, 10K rose gold, 10K white gold, 14K yellow gold, 14K rose gold, 14K white gold, 18K yellow gold, 18K rose gold and 18K white gold. A bezel shows more metal than any claw setting, so the colour choice matters more here than usual. Yellow and rose gold give a warm ring of gold around the diamond, white gold reads as a near invisible rim and makes the stone look as large as possible. For daily wear 14K is harder than 18K and resists denting on a bezel wall.

Frequently asked questions

What is a bezel setting?
A continuous rim of metal that wraps the entire girdle of the stone and is burnished over its edge. It holds without claws, sits flush, and is the most protective setting there is.

Is a bezel more secure than claws?
Yes. Claws can bend or wear over time and need periodic checking. A bezel grips the whole perimeter at once, which is why it is the setting most often recommended for people who work with their hands, wear gloves, or never take the ring off.

Does a bezel make the diamond look smaller?
It covers the girdle edge, which is the least visible part of the stone, so a little face up area is traded for the security. In white gold the rim blends with the diamond and the effect is barely noticeable.

Is this a good ring for an active person?
It is the best setting we make for that. There is no claw to catch on fabric or lift, and the diamond edge is fully protected against knocks.

Will a wedding band sit flush against it?
Yes, easily. The shank is plain and the bezel sits low, so a flat band rests cleanly alongside.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. Same carbon structure, hardness and brilliance as a mined diamond. Only the origin differs.

Do I get a certificate?
