A radiant cut lab grown diamond held in four fine claws and set as close to the finger as the pavilion allows, on a band drawn to the thinnest section we make.

Setting height is the quietest variable in ring design and one of the most consequential. A high setting lifts the stone into the light and looks impressive in a photograph, but it also catches on clothing, tips on a narrow shank and makes a wedding band sit badly against it. Bringing the stone down until the pavilion almost touches the finger does the opposite. It makes the ring stable, it lets a flat band sit flush against the head, and it changes the way the diamond is lit, because more of the light now enters through the crown from above rather than from underneath. On a radiant, which is brilliant faceted and returns light readily, that is no loss. Combined with a band this fine the result is a ring you stop noticing on the hand until it moves, which is the point.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond
Yes. It has the same carbon crystal structure, hardness and optical behaviour as a mined diamond and is graded on the same scales by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the center stone is included at no extra charge.

What is the advantage of a low setting
It catches on far less, it sits flush against a wedding band, and it is more stable on a fine shank because the weight is close to the finger.

Does a low setting reduce sparkle
On a brilliant faceted stone like a radiant, very little. Most of the light a radiant returns enters through the top rather than from underneath.

Will a band this thin bend
Not in normal wear, and we will make the shank heavier at no extra cost if you prefer.

Can this ring be resized
Yes, easily. The band carries no stones.

How long does the ring take to make
Each ring is made to order. Allow twelve to sixteen working days before dispatch.
