Band details

The shank is a fine band carrying a single micro pave row on its upper face, plain and smooth on the underside. Because the pave stones are small the band stays narrow, which is what makes the radiant read as large against it. The plain underside keeps the ring comfortable and simple to resize.

What is a hidden halo?
A ring of small diamonds set around the basket beneath the centre stone, facing outward rather than upward. It is invisible from directly above and adds a bright collar when the ring is seen in profile.

Does a hidden halo make the stone look bigger?
Slightly, and more importantly it lifts the stone so light reaches the pavilion. On a radiant, which throws fire downward as well as up, that extra light under the stone genuinely increases the brightness you see from above.

What is micro pave?
Pave set with very small stones held by tiny raised beads of metal. It gives a continuous line of sparkle without adding bulk, which is why it suits a narrow band.

Do micro pave stones fall out?
Not when set properly. Each sits in its own seat held by beads. We inspect every setting under magnification before dispatch and recommend a check every couple of years, as with any pave ring.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. A lab grown diamond has the same carbon crystal structure, hardness, refractive index and fire as a mined diamond. The only difference is that it was grown in a controlled environment rather than pulled from the ground.
