An elongated radiant cut lab grown diamond held in four claws, with a band set in alternating marquise and round accent diamonds. The marquises sit closest to the centre stone on each side, laid lengthways so their points run along the band, and beyond each one a round follows, then another marquise, then a round again, each stone individually claw set with polished gold between them. Placing marquises immediately beside the radiant is what makes this work. Their tapering points echo the cropped corners of the centre stone and lead the eye outward along the finger, so the accents behave like true side stones near the head and settle into a spaced rhythm further down the shank. Metal options

Available in 925 sterling silver, 10K yellow gold, 10K rose gold, 10K white gold, 14K yellow gold, 14K rose gold, 14K white gold, 18K yellow gold, 18K rose gold and 18K white gold. Because the accents are spaced rather than packed together, gold shows clearly between them and becomes part of the alternating pattern. Yellow and rose gold give a rhythm of warm metal and white diamond down the band, white gold reduces the whole shank to a broken line of light. For daily wear 14K is harder than 18K and better protects the fine points of claw set marquises.

Frequently asked questions

Why alternate marquise and round accents?
The two shapes read differently in light. A marquise set lengthways stretches into a long flash and echoes the tapering corners of the radiant, while a round gives a compact point of sparkle. Alternating them gives the band movement rather than uniformity.

Are these side stones or an accent band?
Both, in effect. The innermost marquises sit close enough to the centre stone to function as side stones, and the pattern then continues down the shoulders as a spaced accent band.

How is this different from a pave band?
Pave uses tiny stones packed edge to edge. These are individual diamonds, each in its own claws, with visible gold between them, so you read distinct stones rather than a continuous strip of glitter.

What is a radiant cut?
A rectangular or square stone with cropped corners and brilliant style faceting, combining the outline of an emerald cut with the sparkle of a round.

Will a wedding band sit flush?
Not completely, because the claw set accents stand proud of the shank. A contoured band solves this and we can shape one to match.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. Same carbon structure, hardness and brilliance as a mined diamond. Only the origin differs.

Do I get a certificate?
Yes. A free IGI certificate for the centre stone comes with every order, listing colour, clarity, cut grade and carat weight.
