A radiant cut lab grown diamond enclosed in a full bezel, the rim following the cut corners of the stone exactly so the outline stays crisp rather than being rounded off. There are no claws anywhere on this ring. A continuous wall of metal holds the diamond, which is the most protective setting there is and the flattest against the hand. Beneath the bezel the setting is lifted on a fine open gallery, so light still reaches the pavilion from the sides and the stone does not sit dead against the finger. The band below is plain polished metal of even width. E colour, VVS2 clarity, free IGI certificate for the centre stone. Made to order in Surat in ten metals and four carat weights.

Band details

A plain polished band of even width running unbroken around the finger, rising slightly at the shoulders to meet the gallery. No stones, no engraving and no milgrain.

Metal options

Available in 925 sterling silver, 10K yellow gold, 10K rose gold, 10K white gold, 14K yellow gold, 14K rose gold, 14K white gold, 18K yellow gold, 18K rose gold and 18K white gold. A bezel places a solid band of metal directly against the diamond, so the contrast is stronger here than on a claw setting. Yellow and rose gold frame the radiant in a warm outline. White gold and sterling silver let the rim disappear into the stone so the diamond looks larger.

Frequently asked questions

What is a full bezel?
A rim of metal that wraps the whole edge of the diamond and holds it in place, with no claws at all. It is the most secure setting available and the one least likely to snag on clothing.

Is a radiant cut the same as an emerald cut?
No. They share the rectangular outline with cut corners, but an emerald cut is step faceted and gives broad flashes, while a radiant is brilliant faceted underneath and sparkles far more. If you want the shape of an emerald cut with the fire of a round, this is it.

Does a bezel make the diamond look smaller?
The rim covers the very edge of the girdle, but the extra metal outline usually makes the whole head read larger from a distance, especially in white gold where the rim blends with the stone.

Why is the setting raised on a gallery?
So light can enter the pavilion from the sides. A bezel that sits flat on the finger blocks that light and the stone looks darker.

Is this a good choice for daily wear?
Yes. A bezel is the most practical setting for hands on work, gloves and small children, because there are no prongs to catch or bend.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. Same carbon structure, hardness and brilliance as a mined diamond. Only the origin differs.
