An elongated radiant cut lab grown diamond held in four claws over a hidden halo, on a band set with a single row of pave. The hidden halo here is rectangular, cut to follow the outline of the radiant including its cropped corners, rather than a round collar sitting under a rectangular stone. That is the detail that decides whether a hidden halo on a step outline looks intentional or looks like a part borrowed from a different ring. A radiant is the shape that gives you the long rectangular outline of an emerald cut with brilliant faceting underneath, so it sparkles like a round rather than flashing like an emerald. The hidden halo only shows in profile, so warm metals give it a distinct glow against the gold as the hand moves. Frequently asked questions

What is a radiant cut?
A rectangular or square outline with cropped corners and brilliant faceting beneath. It gives the shape of an emerald cut with the sparkle of a round, which is why it suits people who like step cut outlines but want more fire.

How is this different from your bezel set radiant ring?
That ring encloses the stone in a rim of metal with no claws, on a plain band, and has no halo. This one is claw set, carries a hidden halo underneath, and has pave along the shoulders.

What is a hidden halo?
A ring of small diamonds set around the underside of the centre stone, below the girdle. It is invisible from above and only appears from the side.

Why does the halo need to be rectangular?
Because the stone is. A round hidden halo under a rectangular outline leaves gaps at the corners and looks like a mismatched component. Shaping it to the radiant keeps the profile clean.

Does elongated mean longer than a normal radiant?
Yes. The length to width ratio is greater, so the stone looks longer and narrower on the finger and covers more of it.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. Same carbon structure, hardness and brilliance as a mined diamond. Only the origin differs.

Do I get a certificate?
Yes. A free IGI certificate for the centre stone comes with every order, listing colour, clarity, cut grade and carat weight.
