A radiant cut lab grown diamond flanked by two smaller radiants, lifted over a hidden halo, on a pave set band. Three stone rings usually pair the centre with a different shape at the sides, tapered baguettes or trillions, and this one does the opposite, repeating the same radiant cut three times so the design reads as one continuous run of the same geometry across the finger. The concealed halo beneath the centre stone adds light from the side, and the pave carries the line down into the shoulders. Every diamond is a laboratory grown diamond, identical in carbon structure, hardness and brilliance to a mined diamond, graded E colour and VVS2 clarity. What does the carat weight refer to on this ring

The carat selection is the weight of the radiant centre stone. The two radiant side stones are proportioned to it and included in addition, so a larger centre selection comes with correspondingly larger sides.

Why use matching radiants as side stones

Most three stone rings contrast the shapes, which draws a clear line between centre and sides. Repeating the same cut three times does the opposite, it makes the top of the ring read as a single geometric run rather than as one stone with supporters. It is a cleaner, more modern look and it suits the sharp outline of a radiant particularly well.

What is a hidden halo

A hidden halo is a ring of small diamonds set horizontally around the basket underneath the centre stone, facing outward rather than upward. From directly above you do not see it, so the three stone line stays clean. From the side and from the wearer's own eye level it catches light and lifts the centre stone.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond

Yes. A lab grown diamond is real diamond. It has the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale, the same refractive index and the same fire and brilliance as a mined diamond. The only difference is that it was grown in a controlled laboratory over a few weeks instead of underground over billions of years. No jeweller can tell the difference by eye, only specialist equipment reading growth patterns can separate the two.

What is a radiant cut diamond

A radiant is a rectangular or square stone with cropped corners and brilliant style faceting. It combines the elegant outline of an emerald cut with the fire of a round brilliant, scattering light in many small bursts rather than the broad flashes of a step cut. The trimmed corners also make it more robust than a sharp cornered shape.

Does this ring come with a certificate

Yes. Every ring ships with a free IGI certificate for the centre stone. IGI is the International Gemological Institute, one of the largest independent diamond grading laboratories in the world. The certificate confirms the carat weight, the E colour grade, the VVS2 clarity grade and the laboratory grown origin. There is no extra charge for the certificate.

What does E colour VVS2 actually mean

E colour is the second highest grade on the diamond colour scale and sits inside the colourless range, so the diamond looks bright white with no warm or yellow tint. VVS2 means very very slightly included, the second highest clarity tier. Any inclusions are so small that a trained grader needs 10x magnification to find them and they are completely invisible to the naked eye.

Why buy a lab grown diamond

A lab grown diamond gives you a materially identical stone for a fraction of the price of a mined equivalent, and on a three stone ring that saving applies across all three. Matched radiants in graduated sizes would also be slow and costly to source as mined stones, which is part of why designs like this one are far more accessible in lab grown. Because the origin of every stone is documented from the moment it is grown, a lab grown diamond is conflict free by definition. Growing a diamond also avoids the open pit excavation, land disruption and water use that mining a comparable stone requires.
