A radiant cut lab grown diamond in a four claw head above a hidden halo, on a band pave set down both shoulders. The radiant is already the brightest of the rectangular cuts, faceted like a brilliant beneath a step cut outline, so the halo here is placed underneath rather than around it. A visible halo would compete with faceting that is doing that work perfectly well on its own. Hidden, it adds width at the base and lifts the stone without appearing from above, and the ring still reads as a clean rectangular solitaire on a pave band. From the side the collar of small stones shows as a bright line beneath the radiant. E colour, VVS2 clarity throughout, free IGI certificate for the centre stone. White metals let the hidden halo and shoulder pave read as one continuous run of light beneath the stone. Yellow and rose gold keep them separate and give the radiant a warmer frame. For daily wear 14K is harder than 18K and holds fine shared claw pave more securely.

Frequently asked questions

Why a hidden halo rather than a visible one on a radiant?
A radiant is brilliant faceted and already produces a great deal of scattered fire. A visible halo of small stones around it competes with that. Placed underneath, the halo adds apparent size and height without interrupting the faceting you actually see.

What is a radiant cut?
A rectangular stone with cropped corners like an emerald cut, but faceted like a brilliant underneath. It gives the clean architectural outline of a step cut with the fine scattered fire of a round.

Does the hidden halo make the diamond look bigger?
It adds visible width at the base and lifts the stone slightly higher, which makes the whole head read as larger, without changing the diamond you see from above.

Does the carat option include the halo and pave?
No. The carat you choose is the weight of the radiant centre only. The hidden halo and pave diamonds are additional at every carat weight.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. Same carbon structure, hardness and brilliance as a mined diamond. Only the origin differs.

Do I get a certificate?
Yes. A free IGI certificate for the centre stone comes with every order, listing colour, clarity, cut grade and carat weight.

How long does it take to make?
Production usually takes ten to fourteen working days, plus shipping time to your address.
