A radiant cut lab grown diamond framed by a full halo of round diamonds, on a band pave set down both shoulders. The halo here is cut to the shape of the stone, following the rectangle and turning the cropped corners rather than rounding them off, so the frame is a true rectangle with softened corners rather than a circle sitting awkwardly around a rectangular stone. That matters more than it sounds. A shaped halo adds visible width and length in the same proportion as the centre, so the whole head grows without changing shape, and a 2 carat radiant inside one of these reads closer to 3 carat from a normal viewing distance. The pave carries the same brightness down the shoulders. E colour, VVS2 clarity throughout, free IGI certificate for the centre stone. Made to order in Surat in ten metals and four carat weights.

A halo works hardest in a white metal, where the join between centre stone and frame becomes almost invisible and the head reads as one large diamond. Yellow and rose gold draw a warm outline around the halo, which suits people who want the frame to be visible as a design element. For daily wear 14K is harder than 18K and holds fine halo settings more securely.

Frequently asked questions

How much bigger does a halo make the stone look?
A well proportioned halo typically adds the visual impression of half a carat to a full carat, depending on the size of the centre. The effect is strongest in white metal where the frame blends into the stone.

Why is the halo rectangular?
Because the centre stone is. A halo cut to follow the outline of a radiant, including its cropped corners, keeps the proportions of the head correct. A circular halo around a rectangular stone leaves uneven gaps and looks like an afterthought.

What is a radiant cut?
A rectangular stone with cropped corners like an emerald cut, but faceted like a brilliant underneath. It gives the clean architectural outline of a step cut with the fine scattered fire of a round.

Does the carat option include the halo and pave?
No. The carat you choose is the weight of the radiant centre only. The halo and pave diamonds are additional at every carat weight.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. Same carbon structure, hardness and brilliance as a mined diamond. Only the origin differs.

Do I get a certificate?
Yes. A free IGI certificate for the centre stone comes with every order, listing colour, clarity, cut grade and carat weight.
