The centre stone sits slightly off axis and the accents gather to one side and trail away, so the design reads as deliberately unbalanced rather than as a conventional ring with a stone missing.

Frequently asked questions

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond? Yes. A lab grown diamond has the same carbon crystal structure, hardness and brilliance as a mined diamond. The only difference is that it is grown in a laboratory rather than extracted from the earth. It is graded by the same laboratories using the same criteria.

What color and clarity are the diamonds in this ring? The radiant cut center stone and every accent are E color and VVS2 clarity, so the cluster holds the same colourless tone as the centre rather than looking grey beside it.

Why is the design asymmetric? It is intentional. Placing the accents on one side only gives the ring direction and movement, and it means the design still reads clearly when the ring is seen from an angle rather than straight on. It suits people who find a mirrored setting too formal.

Which side does the cluster sit on? As photographed the cluster sits on the right when the ring is worn. If you would prefer it mirrored to the other side, tell us when you order and we will set it that way at no extra cost.

What is the difference between a radiant and an emerald cut? They share the same rectangular outline with trimmed corners, but the faceting is opposite. An emerald cut is a step cut with long open facets and broad flashes. A radiant is brilliant faceted, so it sparkles far more actively while keeping the same silhouette.
