Oval Moissanite Vine Bud Accent Twisted Pave Engagement Ring

A pave set vine winds along each shoulder, and where it turns, a single larger round stone is set into the curve like a bud opening on a stem. The vine has milgrain along its edges and crosses over a plain strand behind the setting.

The two bud stones are what stop this reading as an ordinary twisted pave ring. They give the eye somewhere to land on each side, and they scale up with the centre stone so the proportion holds at every carat weight.

How it compares

Our milgrain twist pave vine runs an even line of identical stones the whole way along. This one interrupts that line twice with a much larger stone, which makes the design feel grown rather than drawn. Our marquise petal vine uses pointed marquise stones for the same job, giving a sharper, more floral result.

Wearing and stacking

The bud stones sit a little proud of the vine. A contoured wedding band clears them; a straight band will rest against them.

Made to order in Surat, India

Mapple Gems is a family run workshop in Surat. The bud stones are set first and the pave vine is then cut to run into them, so the line of small stones meets each bud cleanly instead of stopping short. Every ring is made after you order, usually within 10 to 14 working days.

Care

Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft brush. Brush along the vine and around the base of each bud, where residue collects. Rinse and dry with a lint free cloth.
