The stones on this band are the smallest we set. Each one is under a millimetre across and they run in a single continuous thread along a band that is itself barely wider than the row. At arm's length the individual stones cannot be picked out at all and the shoulder reads as a line of light.

This is the most delicate accent band in the oval range. It is designed to disappear next to the centre stone rather than to compete with it.

How it compares

Our large shared prong band is the opposite extreme, a few big stones throwing separate flashes. This one uses many tiny stones that merge into a single soft line. If you want the centre stone to be unmistakably the only real stone on the ring, choose this one.

Wearing and stacking

Very slim and low. It stacks beautifully with almost any wedding band, though a heavy band will visually overpower it.

Mapple Gems is a family run workshop in Surat. Stones this small are set under a microscope and the beads are raised with the finest gravers we have. It is slow work and it is the reason this band takes as long as designs with three times the stone count. Every ring is made after you order, usually within 14 to 18 working days.

Care

Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft brush. Use a very soft brush and light pressure. Ultra fine beads are small and heavy scrubbing is the main way they get damaged. Rinse and dry with a lint free cloth.

How many accent stones are there
Around forty four, despite the row looking continuous.

Can such small stones fall out
They are well protected because they sit low in the metal, but a knock that would only scratch a larger stone can dislodge one of these. Have the row checked yearly.

Can this ring be resized
By about half a size. The band is slim and the pave runs a long way down.

Is moissanite hard enough for daily wear
Yes. Moissanite is 9.25 on the Mohs scale, second only to diamond among stones used in jewellery.

Which finger sizes are available
