Behind the setting the band divides into two smooth strands that cross over each other twice on each shoulder, then rejoin into a single round band at the back. There are no stones on the shoulders and no texture on the metal. The pattern comes entirely from the twist.

Because everything is polished round wire, the light moves along the strands as the ring turns rather than sitting still.

The twist opens a small gap where a straight wedding band meets the shoulder. Many people wear this one on its own or pair it with a matching twisted band.

Mapple Gems is a family run workshop in Surat. The strands are formed over a mandrel so both twists have the same pitch on each side, then polished individually before the head is set. Every ring is made after you order, usually within 7 to 10 working days.

Care

Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft brush, working into the gaps where the strands cross. Rinse and dry with a lint free cloth.

No. The strands are round wire, fully polished, with no sharp edges.

Can this ring be resized
Yes, at the back where the band is single. The twisted section is not resized.

No. This design is a plain solitaire.

Yes. Moissanite is 9.25 on the Mohs scale, second only to diamond among stones used in jewellery.
