Each shoulder carries exactly two stones. A marquise sits nearest the centre with its point running along the finger, then a gap of plain polished metal, then a single round. That is the whole design, four accent stones in total.

Leaving real space between the stones is unusual and it is the point here. The gaps let the band show, so the ring reads as light and airy where a continuous row would read as solid.

How it compares

Our alternating accent design runs marquise and round stones continuously along the shoulder with no gaps. This one uses only four stones and spaces them deliberately. It is the quieter of the two and suits anyone who wants accents without the band looking set.

Wearing and stacking

All the stones sit low and flat. A straight wedding band sits flush against the outermost round without touching it.

Mapple Gems is a family run workshop in Surat. With only four accent stones there is nowhere to hide an uneven gap, so the seats are marked out and measured along the shank before any metal is cut. Every ring is made after you order, usually within 7 to 10 working days.

Care

Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft brush. Brush around each individual stone. There are no dense areas to work into on this one. Rinse and dry with a lint free cloth.

Why so few accent stones
Because the spacing is the design. Adding more would close the gaps and turn it into an ordinary accent band.

Can this ring be resized
Yes, by one to two sizes. The back of the band is plain.

Do the marquise points catch
No. They lie along the finger and are covered at the tip by the claw.

Is moissanite hard enough for daily wear
Yes. Moissanite is 9.25 on the Mohs scale, second only to diamond among stones used in jewellery.
