This is a botanical ring with no accent stones at all. The decoration is carved into the metal itself. On each shoulder the band divides into a slim vine that curls under and over, and from it a pair of polished leaves lifts away from the shank, one pointing toward the centre stone and one turning back down the finger.

Because everything is metal, the ring reads very differently from a pave botanical design. In yellow or rose gold the leaves show as warm, rounded shapes with real depth of shadow. In white gold they read almost like carved silver. Either way the only thing that sparkles is the oval.

Wearing and stacking

The leaves stand slightly proud of the shank, so a straight wedding band will not sit perfectly flush against the shoulders. A curved or open band, or wearing this ring on its own, suits the shape best.

Care

Warm water, mild dish soap and a soft brush. Polished metal leaves will pick up fine surface marks over years of wear, which a jeweller can polish out, and many people prefer the softened look that develops.

No. The leaves and vine are solid metal. The oval is the only stone on the ring.
