Small marquise and round moissanites alternate along the band in a steady repeat, marquise then round then marquise, from the setting most of the way around the shoulder. Every accent is the same size as the others of its shape, so the pattern stays even rather than building toward the centre stone.

Each stone sits in its own tiny setting with a polished bead of metal between it and the next, which keeps the band reading as a fine chain of light rather than a solid pave line. The shank itself is very slim, so the oval sits above a band that almost disappears on the finger.

How it compares

We make a second alternating design where the marquise accents are graduated, largest beside the centre stone and smaller toward the back. This one keeps every accent the same size and runs the pattern further round the band, which reads quieter and more even. It is also the slimmer of the two at 1.5 mm.

Wearing and stacking

A very fine band sits close to the finger and pairs well with an equally slim wedding band. The palm side is plain metal, so the ring can be resized.

Mapple Gems is a family run workshop in Surat. Setting alternating shapes at even spacing on a 1.5 mm band is slow, precise work, and every seat is cut by hand. Each ring is made after you order in the metal, carat and finger size you choose, usually within 7 to 10 working days.

Care

Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft brush along both sides of the band. Rinse and dry with a lint free cloth. Because the band is fine, avoid knocking it against hard surfaces.

How many accent stones are there
Usually between fourteen and eighteen in total depending on your finger size.

Is a 1.5 mm band too fine for a large stone
The shank thickens where it meets the setting, so a 4 or 5 carat oval is held securely. If you prefer a sturdier feel on the finger, our 2 mm styles are a better choice.

Can this ring be resized
Yes. The lower part of the band carries no stones.

Is moissanite hard enough for daily wear
Yes. Moissanite is 9.25 on the Mohs scale, second only to diamond among stones used in jewellery.

Which finger sizes are available
