Oval Moissanite Pave Vine Halo Statement Engagement Ring

This is the largest and most worked design in our oval range. A full halo of small round moissanites circles the centre stone, and from that halo the setting grows outward into a tangle of pave set leaves and vines that wrap over and under one another all the way down both shoulders. Every leaf is filled with accents, and the vines that separate them are edged with fine beading.

At the shoulders the ring is about 6 mm across at its widest, tapering to a plain rounded band of about 2.5 mm at the back of the finger. It is a ring that fills the space between the knuckles and is meant to be seen.

Pricing note

The wide sculpted shoulders use far more metal and far more hand setting than a standard 2 mm band. That extra work and weight is already included in the price shown here, so nothing is added at checkout.

How it compares

Our sculpted metal leaf ring is the quiet version of this idea, with foliage carved in plain gold and no accents. This one is the opposite. Every surface that can hold a stone does, and the halo makes the centre read a full size larger. If you want maximum presence from a botanical design, this is the one.

Wearing and stacking

Because the shoulders are wide and sculpted, a straight wedding band will not sit flush against them. Most people wear this ring alone, or with a matching contoured band made to follow the vine line.

Mapple Gems is a family run workshop in Surat. A ring with this many settings takes considerably longer to make than a plain solitaire. Every accent is hand set into carved metal after you order, in the metal, carat and finger size you choose. Production usually takes 10 to 14 working days for this design.

Care

Soak in warm water with a drop of mild dish soap and brush gently but thoroughly. With this many stones and this much carving, dust collects faster than on a plain ring, so clean it more often than you would a solitaire and have the settings checked yearly.

How many accent stones are on this ring
Well over one hundred depending on finger size, counting the halo, the leaves and the vine edges.

Is it comfortable to wear every day
It is a substantial ring. The back of the band is plain and rounded, which helps, but if you want something low profile this is not it.

Can it be resized
Within a size or so, using the plain section at the back. Larger changes are difficult because the pave runs so far around, so please measure carefully.

Is moissanite hard enough for daily wear
Yes. Moissanite is 9.25 on the Mohs scale, second only to diamond among stones used in jewellery.

Which finger sizes are available
Sizes 3 to 13 including half sizes. Message us before ordering if you need something outside that range.
