On each side of the oval sit three small marquise shaped leaves of metal, and inside each leaf are two or three tiny round accents. They fan outward from the centre stone the way petals sit around a flower, then stop, leaving the rest of the band plain.

It is a nature theme handled quietly. There are no vines wrapping the shank and no engraved texture, just the leaf shapes at the head.

How it compares

Our leaf and vine design wraps the whole shank in twisting metal and uses coloured stones. This one keeps the botanical idea to the head only, so the ring still reads as a simple solitaire from a distance and only shows its leaves close up. It is the easier of the two to wear with a plain wedding band.

Wearing and stacking

The leaves sit low and flat against the finger, so a straight band meets the ring cleanly on both sides.

Mapple Gems is a family run workshop in Surat. Each leaf is cut and shaped before the accents go in, so the six leaves match each other in size and angle. Every ring is made after you order, usually within 7 to 10 working days.

Care

Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft brush around the leaves. Rinse and dry with a lint free cloth.
