This is the widest design in our oval range. The band measures about 4 mm across and every part of it is covered, with marquise cut stones laid at angles, pear cuts filling the spaces between them and small rounds packed into whatever room is left. The pattern continues over the top of the shoulders and part way down the back.

The centre stone sits in the middle of all that on four plain prongs. It is the only quiet part of the ring, which is what keeps it readable.

Pricing note

The wider 4 mm band uses considerably more metal and holds far more stones than a standard 2 mm band, and the price shown already includes that. Nothing extra is added at checkout.

How it compares

Our fan cluster design places its marquise and pear stones in a neat symmetrical group beside the centre stone and leaves the rest of the band plain. This one abandons that restraint completely and covers the whole band. If you want a ring that reads as a single wide sparkling band rather than as a solitaire with decoration, this is it.

Wearing and stacking

At 4 mm this ring fills the finger on its own. Most people wear it without a wedding band, or with a very thin plain band on the other hand.

Mapple Gems is a family run workshop in Surat. A cluster this dense is set stone by stone over several sittings, and the angles are checked against the finished pattern as the work goes so the marquise stones stay in rhythm. Every ring is made after you order, usually within 14 to 18 working days.

Care

Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft brush. Work in small sections. A dense cluster holds more residue than a plain band, so clean it more often. Rinse and dry with a lint free cloth.

Can this ring be resized
Very little, perhaps a quarter size. Order your exact size if you can. We are happy to send a sizer first.

Is a 4 mm band comfortable
The inside edge is rounded so it sits comfortably, but a wide band feels different from a thin one. If you have never worn one, try a 4 mm plain band before ordering.

Is moissanite hard enough for daily wear
Yes. Moissanite is 9.25 on the Mohs scale, second only to diamond among stones used in jewellery.
